508 Compliance and Accessibility

ADA compliance needs continue to grow for organizations and enterprises. WCAG 2.2 standards and 508/ADA compliance for web can be complex, but new applications and integrations have eased the lift on internal teams. UserWay and accessiBe are two of the well-known names in a growing field of accessibility tools for web.

Websites cannot rely on applications alone for ADA compliance. Websites must be first built on an accessible framework. The Colorado Access website is built on an ADA compliant, custom framework for WordPress meeting all WCAG 2.2 standards.

508 remediation expands beyond web, and into documents. At Colorado Access we hosted hundreds of 508 compliant PDF documents. This work was handled both inhouse and with national vendors.

Documents included RFPs (over 500 pages), provider manuals, form-fillable PDFs, and guides for members and providers.
